Did you meet a really great guy? Do you know if he likes you? Some people are just friendly, some like to tease, and some just want to hang out with friends. Do you know the difference between the signals that say he likes you as a buddy or those that say he's attracted and he'd like to get to know you better?
Sometimes, guys are not easy to read. But there are certain signs that will tell you if he is interested in you as a girlfriend. Here are some questions to ask yourself that may tell you what you want to know:
1. What does his face reveal?
How will you know if he likes you by looking at his face? Does he make eye contact? Or is he too nervous to look at you when he talks? Notice how he acts around other people, and then compare his facial expressions when he is around you. Pay attention to whether or not he blushes when he sees you. When he is near you, he may scratch his head, look at his feet, look you in the eyes, smile a lot, or nod often. These are all signs that he is interested.
2. What is he saying?
Guys who are attracted to girls often are tongue-tied, or, they can't stop talking. Both behaviors reveal that they are nervous and interested. Is he saying things to impress you? Does he laugh a lot at your jokes or seem eager to hear what you have to say? Is he stumbling around trying to say something but he can't quite get it out? Maybe he's trying to ask you for a date.
3. What is he doing when he is near you?
If he likes you, his feet will not be pointing in another direction and his heart will not be facing you. This indicates that he is not that into you. If he says he has to get going to see his friends, he's just excusing himself and wanting to get away. But if he lingers, wants to talk, and asks you questions about yourself, he's interested.
4. How are his friends reacting to you?
If he likes you, his friends will know who you are. It will be obvious that he has been talking about you. Are they treating you differently from the way they used to? If he's telling his friends about you... he likes you.
5. What has he done as a followup action since you first met?
Does he call you? Does he manage to show up where you least expect him? Does he email you? If he wants to run into you again, he may pay attention to where you go at certain times.
Does he like you? If he is showing any of the above signs, and you recognized more than one of the mentioned behaviors in him, he is interested. If he shows many of the above signs, he likes you.
